Who we are:

We are sisters who live 1000+ miles apart who love collecting dishes, tablescaping, DIY, improving our spaces and generally making a mess of things. We both collect dishes - Big Sis has our great-grandmothers'  Desert Rose, and has lately added Pistoulet and Winterberry to the collecting mix. Lil' Sis likes to keep things bright and lively through her Fiestaware. Right now, Lil' Sis can't get enough of Peacock, Turquoise, Lemongrass, Flamingo, and Shamrock.  We're both moms but at different ends of the spectrum - Lil' Sis has wee folks in preschool, while Big Sis lives in a blended family made up of teens. We're always trying projects from holiday tablescapes to installing laminate, tricks to save money (so we can buy more dishes), and coming up with shenanigans that makes the distance feel shorter.

Our blog:

We are not bloggers who are looking to 1) have an etsy shop or 2) get a book deal. We are simply enthusiasts of all things dish and DIY related. We want to connect and share with you what we have been up to and see what other people have going on so we can be inspired as well.  If you see a hyperlink on our blog posts, it will be a link to either a recipe, tutorial or other information that helped us do our project.
